Holden and Phoebe
... I don't get them. I mean I feel like Phoebe is the older one. She seems older when they talk. She acts like she gets disappointed in Holden pretty easily. I mean I would too if my brother was continually failing out of school. But I mean I guess I would kind of understand because if our brother, (Allie for Phoebe and Holden) had died and Holden basically became unsteady and started punching windows in the garage out, I mean everything in our lives should change. We shouldn't feel the same way about each other because a lot of events just happened and we saw how each other really reacts to things. I don't know. I always have to but myself in the shoes of the person or people I'm reading about. XD
Getting Drunk
Holden is stupid about getting drunk. I mean he drinks to feel grown up and to get drunk. He does it so that he feels and looks grown up but in the end I think he just ends up looking like a fool. It's really stupid on his part. I mean, calling Sally and being like 'Hey, baby, I love you.' When I feel like they just broke up or something. It's like me if I were to get drunk today and call up my ex-boyfriend like nothing was wrong between us when their blatantly is. But I guess I'm a lot more mature that Holden in that aspect...I guess.... Holden is pretty much an immature weirdo if he were to be a real life person but this book makes us like him too much. It's a problem.

Found
I thought I wanted to
Marry this girl.
I’m always
Calling her when I’m bored
Or drunk.
You’re Drunk.
Go to bed now.
Boy was I drunk!
I don’t think I was actually
Yelling into the phone.
Go home and go to bed.
She hung up on me.
I could go home.
She didn’t know that,
I was too drunk to stop and think.
G’night Sally baby.
Sally sweetheart darling.
Can you imagine how drunk I was?
I must have been drowning
To say something like
That.
